The piece is then moved to a 2nd drying rack for another 24 hours of drying. After 24 hours a staff member will take each individual piece and either dip or brush on a clear glaze. The pieces generally dry a minimum of 24 hours. The staff is helpful and has great tips and ideas. Theres a great selection of things to paint. Popular brands like Bernardaud, Havilland, or Meissen indeed have a significant market, and while they might be more industrial, I pride myself on hand-painting my pieces. The best part is having all the supplies and paint on hand and leaving all the mess behind too. Its a fun activity place and great for kids.
